Kisses from Uriage πŸ’‹

In my past posts in collaboration with Uriage, I discussed how to obtain soft skin for face and body.Β  Since its the month of February and we celebrate Valentines Day, I want to talk about some real kisses!Β

In this post I will talk a bit about cracked lips and how to prevent them while introducing you to the Uriage Cica-Lips Repairing Balm.Β  Cracked lips occur in both Winter and Summer.Β  In Summer they are sunburned and during Winter they are exposed to wind and get dry and therefore they get cracked.Β  Apart for all the precautions one has to take, like when taking care of our skin, one must always carry lip balm and apply whenever you feel that your lips are drying up.

This product again, like some of the other Uriage products, which I reviewed in previous posts, contains polymers which serve as a protection and a barrier, so it would not only repair the damaged skin but also protects so it will not get damaged again.Β  The Phytosterols which are in this lip balm immediately soothe your dry and cracked lips and start the process of repairing.Β  Phytosterols are natural compounds found in plants membrane.Β  Their structure is similar to the one of Cholesterol which is found in our body.Β  Cholesterol is a type of fat, and its a fact that our body needs some fat so it can protect itself.Β  So therefore the Phytosterols are acting as the substitute of our fat protecting our bodies, well in this case its repairing your lips.

The texture of this lip balm is thick but smooth and with every application only a small amount is required.Β  It comes in a 15mL Tube, which make it easy to carry everywhere with you.

Uriage will be giving away a Cica-Lips Repairing Balm to 2 Style Syco followers, in the coming days.Β  So stay tuned to Style Syco Facebook page for more information.
